Shortly after their conception in the fall of 2004, State Hospital's lead singer Phil was assasinated by Palestinian terrorist for authoring a book entitled: "The Greatness of Capitalism: We'll Put a Boot in Your Ass You Anti-American Pigs." After having a short mourning period, State Hospital felt they had to carry on because they were to important to the cause. So they saddled up guitar player "The Amazing Steve" with a microphone and told him to go nuts. Steve's unique brand of booty shakin' and heart breakin' was the perfect combination to drive girls crazy and carry on the State Hospital legacy. What's in the future for State Hospital is now left to be seen.

A meaning of the word 'post' is to publish or announce. A meaning for the word 'refuge' is a shelter or protection from danger or distress.
Perhaps a group of kids, a group of kids some may think look dangerous or troublesome, can create something that can be a publicly announced shelter through their music. That may be to high of an expectation or to pretentious a thought, but isn't it worth trying? After all, somewhere...music just might be a synonym for life.

Four Letter Goodbye 3.5mb (recorded by Mike Britt at Gizmotron Fortress. the drums were mic'd using two distant overheads and a bass mic, the guitar and bass were done simultaniously on the same track [at the musicians' request] and the vocals were overdubbed afterwords. The most impressive aspect of this recording is the fact that the age of the performers range from only 14 to 16!!!)
